Jihane Muhamodsaroar has more than twenty years of experience in fund administration, corporate services, financial reporting, governance and operations management in Mauritius. As Head of Operations, she is responsible for the administration of fund and corporate structures at Renesis Financial Services, bringing technical expertise, practical market insight and a client-focused approach to execution.

AREAS OF EXPERTISE

• Administration of investment funds, investment managers and advisers, holding companies, special purpose vehicles and other global business structures.
• Closed-ended fund specialism, including private equity and closed-ended funds, their SPVs and investment managers.
• IFRS reporting, taxation, regulatory compliance, risk management, AML requirements, corporate governance and operational controls.
• Board directorships and Financial Services Commission-approved MLRO and Compliance Officer roles for client entities.

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

Jihane joined Renesis Financial Services in 2026 following a career with three of Mauritius's leading fund administrators. She spent fifteen years with three multinational firms, most recently serving as Associate Director (2024–2026) and Senior Manager (2021–2024).

From 2005 to 2016, she progressed from Junior Executive to Manager of the closed-ended fund specialist unit, where she was responsible for more than twenty closed-ended funds, their SPVs and investment managers, as well as a team of eleven.

Between 2016 and 2021, she served as Accounting Manager, leading a team of ten responsible for a portfolio of approximately four hundred companies, including investment holding companies, private equity and open-ended funds, CIS Managers, investment advisers, trading companies and real estate vehicles. She served on the boards of a number of these companies and, with the approval of the Financial Services Commission, acted as MLRO or Compliance Officer where required.
